Annual Pumpkin Patch
Our 7th annual Pumpkin Patch opens on Sunday, October 3rd, and will be open until Halloween.
This is an old fashioned family event that is appropriate for all ages. Children, parents, grandparents, singles, couples, friends, and relatives will find something to enjoy at the PUMPKIN PATCH. We have pumpkins of all sizes, shapes and colors, gourds both big and small, Indian corn, home-baked goods, and more. Prices start as low as $0.50 and are priced according to the size of the pumpkin that you pick out.
The Pumpkin Patch hours of operation are:
- Monday - Friday: 2 PM to 7 PM
- Saturday: 10 AM - 5 PM
- Sunday: 12 Noon to 5 PM
- Columbus Day (Monday, October 11th): 10 AM - 5 PM

Special "Family Fair" Days: October 9th and 10th with games and activities for the young (or young at heart), hot dogs, balloons, facepainting and tattoos, baked goods, pumpkin decorating, and picture taking opportunities (main festivities run until 3 PM, but the patch is open until 5).

HELP US HELP OTHERS
Bring canned goods OR donate $1.00 (DONATIONS AND CANNED GOODS WILL BE GIVEN TO THE
WOBURN COUNCIL OF SOCIAL CONCERN'S FOOD PANTRY) and receive $1.00 coupon good towards anything on our baked goods table
Proceeds from the Pumpkin Patch benefit the Navajo Nation (who grow the pumpkins for us in New Mexico), The Woburn Council for Social Concern, our local Middle School (McCall Middle School, who graciously provides youth volunteers each year to help us), and the ministry of our church.
Making Strides Against Breast Cancer
For the 11th year in a row, we will be sending a team to the American Cancer Society's annual "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" walk in Boston - this year's 5+ mile walk around the Charles River takes place on Sunday, October 3rd.
Funds raised through "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" (held in several cities across the country) will support scientific research on the causes of breast cancer and ways to prevent it; "Reach to Recovery", a one-to-one support program for women with breast cancer; a mammography van making breast cancer screening accessible to all women; support for legislation on mammography quality standards, insurance coverage, and other issues; and educational efforts.
We hope you will consider helping us, but going to our
Team Page where you can make a tax-deductible contribution to support our efforts to fight breast cancer.
